Our JNAN YLAN dream team benefits from the formidable synergies of collective decades of complementary experiences and shared passions. As such, we are able to undertake the first project of this scope in Marrakech wholly free from hotel brands with their strict limitations imposed by corporate standardisation. We bring our respective accomplishments to this unique opportunity to act as our own client, which we strongly believe offers the greatest motivation to achieving unparalleled success.
My vision vaulted towards reality when I shared these ideas with Morocco born, Paris based architect Didier Lefort, who founded DL2A, renowned for his Aga Khan Award winning work on The Datai in Langkawi amongst many other international Awards. DL2A is working with prestigious hotel’s brand’s like Aman, Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton ,Starwood, Marriott, One&Only, Clubmed, and many other Boutique hotels. To our partnership, Didier brings a deep appreciation for Moroccan artisanal heritage that he insert into modern architecture with the highest respect from the business community . His work since 20 years in Marrakech on the“ Clubmed la Palmeraie”, the Four Season, the mixed-use 500m long M’ Avenue development in central city, Al Maaden golf resort , as well as in Casablanca for the CIMR Tower, are good examples of his attachment into the cultural and modernity of Moroccan heritage. My decade-long quest for a visionary design partner capable of realising JNAN YLAN concluded successfully when, upon hearing the concept behind my project, Didier recognised how this would resonate with his values and immediately came on board. Didier's architecture has long assimilated indigenous culture and an environmental approach with simplicity, creativity and modernity.

His firm DL2A has 25 years’ experience across five continents and 20 countries. Currently involved in turnkey design projects for both architecture and interior design clients, the Paris based team’s expansion into furniture and lighting design elevates the exclusivity of every DL2A project.
To match our skill sets with the foremost operational expertise, Didier reached out to Philippe Moreau, a respected expert in luxury hospitality management with whom Didier has successfully collaborated on several top ranked resorts since 1999, most recently in São Tomé and Príncipe in West Africa. Upon meeting Philippe, I could immediately appreciate Didier’s confidence in his dynamism as a hotel operator. Working together, I appreciate Philippe’s efficiency and fluency with hotel operations as well as his cross-cultural leadership skills and proven commitment to sustainable tourism.
After completing hotel school in Switzerland, Philippe rose to management roles with Accor, Le Meridien and Minor Hotels as well as independent five star boutique properties across Europe, South America, Asia and Africa. For the past ten years, Philippe was responsible for tourism development with Africa’s sustainability pioneer HBD Principe before moving on to launch PM Hospitality to harness the power of the tourism industry to improve the livelihood of local communities whilst protecting the natural environment.
